The eco club induction ceremony is held every year in my school. The eco club is a team of eco-warriors who are chosen from every grade in recognition of their environmental activities. This year, the eco club induction ceremony took place on 1st May. The office bearers and volunteers took oath after the pinning of badges took place. I have been appointed as one of the 15 volunteers in the eco-club. We are proud to have Pratyush Kandimala from the senior section as our President.

     After the induction ceremony we had various students from the primary section and senior section performing skits and dance. Songs on the environment like ?Save the world? and ?Heal the world? were sung beautifully by the melodious singers of our school. It was a great day indeed!

   Being a volunteer also calls for regular hard work and sincere approach. We have begun our eco club activity from the very next day .Side by side we are also preparing for eco competitions. Right now, I am in charge of choreographing an eco-dance for an upcoming competition. Looks like I will be having a busy month ahead and I am enjoying every bit of it.
