I had wanted to write on the Earth week" Plant for the Planet"  event much earlier. I know it is a late update .Nevertheless as the saying goes, better late than never!

 Earth week was energized by being part of the Synergy event ?Plant for the Planet?. Kudos to Simran for initiating this event and for inviting the eco-ambassadors to join the initiative. The event was well organised to the finest detail and executed to perfection .I am happy to have been a part of this green event. It was also great meeting  the Tunza Eco-generation Ambassadors which included Simran,Rohan kapur and Neha Swaminathan at the event.

   Two buses took 85 young green knights from across U.A.E to the landfill site in Jebel Ali for the Plant for the Planet event. Simran planted the first tree and soon thereafter we began planting our trees. We were assisted by the workers in the landfill. Our second area for the tree-planting was the Super Galvanizing Factory. The tree planting was over around 12:30 p.m and we were back at the venue, the Address Dubai Marina.

It was a full day event which concluded with the Grand finale at the Address Dubai Marina. Sadly, I could not stay back for the lively games and quiz because I had to attend another program. I missed the fun part and the award ceremony. I returned from the venue on a satisfactory note of being part of a great initiative and with a fulfilled feeling of having done my green bit with Synergy.
