![]() ![]() ![]() Have you ever thought how smoking affects planet earth? We all know what all damages smoking causes. By smoking, not only the person who smokes get damages but also the people around him also are affected. Many children in America die due to lung related problems just because they have a smoking parent. Just imagine if those parents would have stopped smoking, a life could have been saved. Smoking affects the biodiversity too. One such problem is this. Cigarettes contain over 4000 chemicals which are exhaled and released into the air and the atmosphere. Approximately 30% of North Americans are smokers, and the percentage goes much higher in developing countries, which means there is a massive amount of pollution being released into the air every day. T So, to address this problem, we created an organization named "Smoke Free Earth". As part of our ways to spread awareness, we did a research project, conducted an awareness seminar among youth in India and also created a website and a facebook page for sharing information. Requesting you all to go to these links, and check it out and I can assure you that the research report is not the boring type one you normally see. It has been designed with pictures, etc to make it very interesting. Also check out our website, an even more interactive way and also like our facebook page too. Soon, we would be updating more info here !:D Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/smokefreeearth
