 "Earth Day Everyday? seemed to be the strongest message from everyone who participated in the Earth Day celebrations at CEE, Ahmedabad last Sunday. Echoing that sentiment, the North East Cell of CEE, with the help of Carbon, a SAYEN member youth group from the region decided to not limit the celebrations to one day and organized a three day event at Bajali HS School in Barpeta district of Assam, India. Marked by many simultaneous activities throughout the three days, the celebration was joined by a large number of people through cycle rallies and competitions organized on different days. One of the most innovative events and also the one which saw great participation was the ?Earth Charter Think Cafe?, where the students were divided in to 9 groups and discussed on the two topics, viz. role of students in conservation of Earth and how can students show love and compassion to all living beings on the earth through their action. After the discussions, one leader from each group addressed everyone and presented the outcomes of the discussion.
