The results are now officially announced on Plant-for-the-Planet website.

It is a matter of great pride that based on the global elections amongst its members , I have been elected as the GLOBAL PRESIDENT of the Children's Board .

I became a Climate Justice Ambassador for Plant-for-the-Planet in June 2012 , in Rio de Janeiro , when I planted a sapling during RIO+20 inside RIOCENTRO , the venue of the summit , on the last day of the Earth Summit. It was a momentous occasion and since then , I along with Green Hope UAE , have been working to spread the message of Climate Justice . We conducted the first ever academy in the UAE on 22nd Sep 2012 and this was followed by the second academy on 23rd March 2013 .

We have so far successfully inducted over 150 Climate Justice Ambassadors in the UAE . In my new mandate as Global President , I will work with other members of the board to carry forward our !--object--ive of climate justice, internationally.

I thank everyone for their support, especially Ecogeneration ,  and urge more children to carry forward the slogan of "Stop Talking , Start Planting".
