At present in many of the governments of the countries of the world is taking a major role in environmental issues, as they are vital for the development of a country.
World Water Day was proposed in the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development and is a very important day in every country, it reminds us of the importance of water, but not just for one day, should be always. In Peru this year was also declared the month of the water, so that throughout the month of March were held many cultural, academic, educational, sporting and political lectures, sources of clean water etc.
So since early March opened in different provinces of Peru activities per month of water, starting on March 1 with the conference "National development and water security against climate change."
There were also performances for children like film presentations, reports and sketch related to the water situation and the care and preservation of this, they also made a walk and bike ride by the World Water Day which included hundreds of participants. Work was carried such as cleaning of riverbeds and Disparate Ichu Ascension and Huancavelica Districts, in the Province of Huancavelica, cleaning Higuamo River coastal road. In Pucallpa was performed the journey cleaning Yarinacocha Lagoon, with the support of local water management.
