 The upcoming Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) 2013 is going to be celebrated in Bangladesh along with other 100+ countries with 1000 of projects. Here Leo Club of Dhaka Paradise Gold has become the country partner by the strong support of Regional Partner named National Federation of Youth Organizations in Bangladesh. Every year the GYSD is observed throughout the whole world by the direct monitoring of Youth Serving America (YSA). Chris Wagner of YSA is motivating, encouraging & supporting us all the time to make everything happen. So to prepare our observance we sat for a meeting on 22 March to celebrate GYSD. Some young intelligent & dynamic youth leader were present in that meeting who expressed their ideas with logic. Basically we got very enthusiastic young minds who emphasizes on environment issues to celebrate GYSD. As a country partner we took some local partner about 20 organizations have joined into these mission under following actions: 1. Tree Plantation in School Premises 2. Promoting Urban Gardening 3. Hang out with orphans in an orphanage centre 4. Seminar on Leadership in Climate Change Aspects 5. Campus cleaning project 6. Press Conference 7. Rally 8.Natural Beauty & Site exploration 9. Meet the President with GYSD Message & theme Hope to reflect more on environment in GYSD 2013. |
