It was my honor to volunteer at the Emirates Environmental Group(EEG) stall on the day of the Earth Hour at Burj Plaza,Dubai.I enjoyed myself as I extended a helping hand to my fellow members of EEG and persuaded others to become a memeber of EEG. Right from 7.30 till 8.15pm me, my brother and my friends handed out flyers to all non-members and tried our best to spread awareness about EEG. At 8.20pm our group was instructed to walk with a EEG banner right behind the Dubai Police Troupe followed by RTA officials.We walked at brisk pace enjoying the the earth hour walk exactly at 8.30pm and glaring our eyes at some land marks like Burj Khalifa and Dubai mall when their lights are switched off. Seeing Burj Khalifa twinkling lights off was something to talk about. At about 9.15pm we were through with the walk. We stood near the candles area. Here many news reporters were waiting to gather our views about the Earth Hour. Various news channels like manorama chennel, reporter, 7 days etc. took our interview. Then came the time when we got the opportunity to climb the steps of the stage and be presented with the momento. Standing with the Chairperson of EEG, Habiba ma'am made all of us felt proud.

At the end all I would like to say is that it was one the best Earth Hour spent...........................with EEG!!!!!!!!!!!
