On the occasion of the International water day 2013, Tunza eco generation organized the essay competition and prize distribution at Rampaur Chitwan, Nepal. The chief guest of the program was Prof. Dr. Maheswar Sapkota, Acting campus chief of Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS), Rampur Chitwan, Tribuwan University(T.U.), Nepal. The Guests were Regional coordinator of Nepalese Youth for climate Action (NYCA) Mr. Sandeep Timilsina and Amnesty International Rampur youth Network Coordinator Ms. Bhawana Ghimire. The program was conducted under the presidency of Myself Mr.Ganga Datt Awasthi (Eco- generation ambassador to Nepal), where more than 50 people attended the program enthusiastically.

Speaking on the program, Program coordinator Mr. Sanjay Joshi welcomed and thanked for all the participants and the attendees of the program. The program was conducted on two phases. The first phase, guest and chief guest commented on the need of the conversation of the environment and role of the youth and children in it. They further elaborated the contribution of the Tunza eco generation on providing the common platform for the youth and children. They also thanked me for organizing this program and stressed for the continuity of such programs by the Tunza eco generation and other organization which help in capacity building students. The prize distribution to the top 10 participants of the essay completion was done by Chief Guest, me and guests. Speaking at the program I expressed my congratulations to all winners and elaborated work of the Tunza eco generation in the field of the environment to gather all the youth and children globally for the collective action to the save the earth and energy. I have further described about the different monthly contest of the Tunza eco generation. The program was run by Mr. Ravi Kiran Adhikari. During the program Mr. Uday Sing Karki (Winner of the Tunza eco generation monthly photo essay contest, December- 2012), express his past achievement and experience from the Tunza eco generation. He welcomed all to join the Tunza eco generation and for the participation of the events organized by Tunza.

During the second Phase, Green Quiz Contest was organized to the attendees. where I have further elaborated the activities of the eco generation on the environmental issue. There was the huge participation of the attendees on quiz contest. The winner of the contest was provided with gift from the eco generation. At the end of the program I have requested them to join the Tunza eco generation and grab the various opportunities. I further addressed about the Tunza eco generation March month?s event where most of them curtained about their participation on that event. In this way program was conducted.

Next program was conducted at Kathmandu Nepal in coordination with Nepal Tunza Youth Environment Network (NTYEN) and in support of other organization. Due to my exam I could not able to join the event at Kathmandu but Tunza eco generation is also the part of that event. I will post detail about this event organized at Kathmandu Nepal.

Finally, I want to thank Tunza eco generation for providing me the promotional goods for organizing the program and hope I will get promotional goods to conduct any program in future.
