Again one of our youth initiative to environment is being focussed here. Basically we firmly believe that these steps would bring real positive change to our mission of livable green earth. "BRAC University Earth & Environment Forum" in collaboration with 10:10 Bangladesh is organizing a 3 step project !!! Certificate programs like Workshop, Write-up Competition & Field Work. Title - "Exploring Environment of BD: towards effective actions" Workshop: The first one is the Workshop. It is an inter-institutional workshop. Students of different institutions ( University /College /School) can participate here. The main purpose of this workshop is to explore the environmental conditions of Bangladesh. Here we are going to focus on the issues that how the environment of Bangladesh is changing, how it is getting polluted, how much it's affecting the citizens, how we can reduce the pollution etc. There will be different specialists who will give us significant information of the regular environmental occurrence, exploitation and how to reduce them for the betterment of the people. There will be Sessions in the workshop: 1. Opening Ceremony 2. Open Discussion: Land, Water & Air 3. Certificate giving & Ending Ceremony Date of Workshop: 28 March, 2013 Venue: BRAC University premises Registration fee: 200 BDT Expected Participants: Students of different institutions. 10:10 Bangladesh is the country wing of a global organization working on climate change issues with headquarters in the UK. |
