 It is our immense pleasure to inform you that WRE Forum (http://wreforum.org/) has taken an initiative to celebrate the International World Water Day 2013. International World Water Day is held annually on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. An international day to celebrate freshwater was recommended at the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED). The United Nations General Assembly responded by designating 22 March 1993 as the first World Water Day. Each year, World Water Day highlights a specific aspect of freshwater by selecting an official theme. In year 2012, World Water Day\'s theme was Water and Food Security. This year\'s Campaign topic is \"International Year of Water Cooperation\". As a part of our celebration, we have planned to publish articles on any water related topics that is relevant to Bangladesh along with other events. Articles should be written within 1000 to 3000 words and can be written in either Bangla or English language. Articles will be published on our website/forum throughout a month from 22 March 2013 to 22 April 2013. WRE Forum is the first Bangladeshi forum/blog/website that is solely focused on the water resources field. This forum will be a collection of articles regarding water resources research and water related national and global issues. Our goal is to make a platform where all water resources engineers, researchers, scientists, and students can get necessary information and resources. Please send your article at wreforum@gmail.com by no later than March 30, 2013. We also request you to visit our website/forum and to send your valuable suggestions to improve the forum. We believe that together we can make this forum a valuable platform for all water resources engineers. We are looking forward to hear from you! However, we have also three more events to make a successful celebration of World Water Day 2013. They are: 1. Interviews of Water Resources Experts from home and abroad 2. T-shirt (containing World Water Day 2013 and WRE Forum logo) wearing on 22 March, 2013 3. E-book publish on Last year\'s selected article. Participate with us and make our efforts successful.
