My Birthday

by | 15-03-2013 20:40

21 years ago, I was born on 23rd March as the youngest son of my parents. I was born in middle class Nepalese family. Although my friends used to go to expensive English medium boarding school, I didn't get an opportunity to study in English medium school. Because of this reason, I became quite unknown and unheard to English language in my school life, became familiar with Nepali language instead. The government scholarship for students like me became quite supportive to me and my remaining brothers and sisters. But when I joined I.Sc science, the primary language of curriculum was English and I felt very difficult situation. The teacher used to speak in English in the class and I used to understand no any words of him in initial periods of I.Sc. Later, I became little bit familiar with this foreign language. Now I'm a B.Sc student and am more familiar to this English language than my school life. That means, I have experienced a lots of ups and downs of my life within this 21 years.

Like previous years, 23rd March is arriving this year as well. I'm very happy because Earth hour is also going to be celebrated same day all around the globe. This year I'm going to celebrate my birthday and earth hour same day in a program organized by WWF, Nepal in our own city pokhara. This program is going to be more especial due to the presence of Rajesh Hamal (WWF's goodwill Ambassador) and Shristi Shresta (WWF's Young Conservation Ambassador). Mr. Hamal is Super hero of Kallihood (Nepalese film industry) and Ms.  Shristi Shresta is Miss Nepal 2012. Along with these celebrities Nima Rumba who is very famous Pop singer of Nepal is also arriving here in Pokhara that day.

Both my birthday and earth hour are going to be very green this year. I hope you all are also going to make this earth hour greener than ever.
