 I, Shreya Srinivas, from New Delhi, India was a part of the Global Youth Environment Forum 2013 held in Seoul, South Korea. The conferences and lectures widened my perspective of how I perceive my environment and the surroundings. Climate Change is a global issue which is not just restricted to one country.The conference taught me to spread more awareness on this topic and also the fact that we need not be part of some big organisation. Every small action of ours counts and will go a long way in making an impact on the changing climate. Seoul is an amazing place. The best thing I liked about it is it's cold weather, snow all around, and most of all the wonderful people who are always ready to help. I also made a lot of new friends there and interacted with people from different countries. It is an experience that I will nurture my entire life. |
