![]() ![]() ![]() I just saw this article about what our Department of Environment and Natural Resources said that the Philippines is way behind in biodiversity protection. It said the Philippines is losing a lot of coastal areas and forests. That means it is not effective enough in conserving, protecting and rehabiliting our natural resources. So whats important is for all "stakeholders" who are concerned to do their part. Invest in protecting the environment and the reward will be great. For example if you protect the environment you can have good eco-tourism. It was sad to see that Mount Makiling which is near me is one of the areas that we should do something about.http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/283192/denr-report-admits-philippines-is-way-behind-biodiversity-protectionPictures in Mt. Makiling when we had the Asia Pacific Boy Scout Jamboree three years ago. Check out the mountains!!! |
