   It's not a good idea to put up campaign posters on trees. For one reason putting up a poster means you have to use nails to make the poster stay on the trees. It will hurt the trees and do some damage. Another reason I don't think it is a good idea is because you are setting a BAD example and before you know it other candidates will also post their campaign posters on the trees. One of the television stations in the Philippines made a poster listing down all the places where postering is not allowed. If the candidates follow the rules it will be so much easier to clean up after the elections and much less litter all around. |
