I am only 15 years old but I am campaigning for someone who is my idol.  His name is Bam Aquino (yes we share the same nickname) and he is running for Senator in the Philippines during the May 2013 elections.  He is very smart and graduated as Summa Cum Laude in Ateneo University, one of the top universities in the Philippines.  He is young and speaks for the youth.  As he said, "all national issues are youth issues—employment, health, environment and even agriculture."He said if he wins as Senator, he can "help push for these issues further and make these part of the national discussion."  I believe he will be a great Senator. He has many awards. He did not only win as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Men of the Philippines, but also won as one of the Ten Young Outstanding Persons of the World. I know he will help us to push for environmental protection. Bam Aquino helped turn some of the small village stores (called sari-sari stores) into solar power stations. He is also a supporter of young environmental groups which started when he was Chairman of the National Youth Commission and with his coverage of the 2004 Bayer Youth Environmental Envoys fieldtrip. I believe in him.  I know that if he promises to help us take care of the environment, he will do it. Bam is my Senator!
