    Last week I attended the Youth Speak Fun Day, a special forum to challenge talent and creativity among Indonesian Senior High Schools students, hosted in the Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta. Apart from enthusiastic students, many sponsors participating in the event through their colorful booths, including one from the "speak!" Magazine. In term of environmental education, the booth of Text for Textile, however, was unique because of its creative way to introduce the concept of 'recycle with style'. Visitors coming to this booth were encouraged to create dress from newspapers supplied by The Jakarta Post. Here you can see some of the most-applauded dresses made from newspapers during the sessions. |
