As a member of the AYCM , I had the privilege of attending this summit to impress the demands of us ,the youth, living in the Arab world. Being the youngest international delegate at this global conference , attended by 20,000 high profile personalities was quite a responsibility . I was interviewed by COP18 TV where I impressed upon the viewers the need to plant trees for stopping land degradation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXs63VbY0OE&feature=g-crec-u I was also privileged to be the only child panelist at COP18 where I received a tremendous response from the large audience for my green work. Youth protests at policy inaction was another way in which we demanded climate justice . The message we reiterated was that every day?s inaction was pushing the world closer to destruction. We , the youth , will continue to strive for The Future We Want. |
