Environmental education to children isn?t limited only learn in the classroom. Storytelling become one of the alternative methods to introduce environmental to children in an interactive and effective learning.

In 2012, through the Teens Go Green Goes to School Program, we visited various schools to introduce environmental education. Storytelling becomes the main menu of the Roadshow series we did.

In the tradition of Indonesian society, storytelling is a common tradition. Usually parents will tell fable on their children when their  going to sleep or in the morning. Storytelling becomes a medium to transfer positive messages and help develop children's imagination.

Roadshow Team for  Teens Go Green Goes to School firstly trained how to be a good story teller. Salma Indria Rahman as good story teller trained us some techniques to be good story teller. She introduce us a story telling method with finger puppet. Untill now, Salma develop a community called Rumah Pohon Activity that educated children in rescue area with finger puppet story telling. The characters are Juki and Friends.

Untill now, it?s about 15 schools we visited in efforts to introduce and increase environmental awareness for children through storytelling method.
