Hi friends, have you ever visited my city Jakarta? Anyone visiting Jakarta for the first time will normally be struck by the level of its traffic. With 20 million vehicles on the street each day, traffic in Jakarta is terrible. The pollution and noise caused negative effects for the city and its inhabitants. More than 9 million people live in Jakarta, with more than hundreds new cars appear in the street each day. This put Jakarta as one of the worst traffic jams city in the world. With the newly-elected Governor, Jakarta has a new hope to be greener. Various efforts have been conducted by the Government to add more Green Open Spaces in the capital city. The Governor believes that massive amount of green open spaces could have a calming effect on the emotion of the people. I totally agree on this! As I proved it by myself, spending time in open spaces surrounded with green unpolluted nature is so something! Somehow it creates calm and happiness inside, which in turn can push your creative button to come up with something fresh and brilliant. It works for me. And I am sure it should work for many others, too. How about your city? Enough green space there? |
