I founded ?Green Hope UAE? , an organization of children and youth, working to carry forward the Rio legacy of a sustainable future. Our work involves raising awareness and involvement in ground level projects on climate change issues, stopping land degradation, reduction of fossil fuel usage and biodiversity conservation.

We were invited to be a part of the Middle East launch of the world?s first environmentally responsible luxury car, the FISKER KARMA. This vehicle has been chosen as Top Gear?s Luxury Car of the Year and has also won Automobile?s Design of the Year Award for its innovative electric power system, which includes a roof made of solar panels.

Mr. Henrik  Fisker  & Mr. Barny Koehler co-founders of the vehicle , flew down to Dubai for the launch which was held in the sprawling golf lawns of Al Badia Club.

My message during the launch was ?Sustainable transport is the call of the day and this car is a big step forward. Instead of spending thousands on designer clothes, one must decide that buying a hybrid car is more like an investment in support of the environment whose benefits will be reaped by our future generations.?

We were the only children amongst all the distinguished guests . It was a great honour and an unique experience to be chosen to be an integral part of the launch of this eco-friendly vehicle in the Middle East.

There was a huge press contingent at this launch and it was featured in several newspapers, both English and Arabic . It was also covered on TV. We were the centre of attraction at the launch because our green message was in sync with that of this eco-friendly vehicle.

Before the car was unveiled, we were introduced to the audience as special guests. This was an unforgettable moment.
