         Yes, this is my believe. I think by following the path of the Indian, 'Father of nation', Mahatma Gandhi , the world can become a peaceful place. There was an International contest by Peace Pals International in Art for Peace. The them was ' My Hero'. The details of the contest was available in the link :- http://wppspeacepals.org/2012-15th-annual-arts-exhibition-awards-2/•From Jharkhand Children's green Club around 27 members had participated . Shibajyoti had taken initiative to collect all drawings from members and sent to USA in his expenditure. My art selected as the 1st. Place winner in my age group 8 to 10 years, which you can see here. •The journey was started around 5 months back when Shibajyoti was selected as a Peace Ambassador by Ms. Jules Lamore - Director under their Ambassador peace tour program. The Ambassador or Peace Collection was selected and created from the tens of thousands of artwork submitted to the Peace Pals Art Awards since its inception in 1997. It features the artwork of youth, ages 5 – 16, from each of the 77 countries who have submitted their creations to the Peace Pals Art Awards over the years. Each piece celebrates the Vision of Peace within the hearts of youth and highlights the message, May Peace Prevail On Earth. Beside study , Shibajyoti and his team had hosted 5 exhibitions in our city Jamshedpur with the 68 nos. arts of children, supplied by Ms. Jules Lamore - Director . • We had posted one report in Tunza Eco Generation website about the initiative of Shibajyoti . He was the architect of India's freedom and one of the greatest men of the last century. Who brought Peace for India by his Non-violence movement and Love. He had brought harmony among all religions. His actions helped to destroy many arms to bring peace on earth. He is my Hero for Global peace. His vision and path can bring peace on earth. The children from nine new countries to join in this contest of Peace Pals International –They are Belarus * Ecuador * Georgia * Morocco * Myanmar * Slovakia * South Korea, United Arab Emirates and Zimbabwe. 20 pieces of artwork were selected from each age category as FINALISTS. She very motivating guide for us. We are happy to inform you all that, she is coming to Indian on 8th. Nov?12 to organize one International Peace conference at Lucknow, India from 8th. Nov?12 and 11th. Nov?12. We got special invitation from her for participation. We are expecting, we will able to meet with many more peace lovers in the conference and get chance to work for peace beside working for the green. |
