Hi All, Let me introduce myself, I am Anggi, who is interesting with many thing including go green and our environment. I am very proud and happy to be selected to be one of the E-Gen Ambassador Unep-Tunza, especially after I received Tunza Kit. Easier for me to do some action with it. After the tsunami hit Aceh in 2004, there are many natural hazards such as floods, landslides, volcanoes and Earthquakes in my country even in Asia Pacific. So, I think people need information as much as water, food, medicine or shelter. Information can save live, livelihoods and resources. Therefore, in addition to caring for the environment, I believe we also need to know about risk reduction. As part of the continued support to Global and National Campaign on the One Million Safe Schools and Hospitals, The World Bank DRM Unit has continuously supported and taken part in collaboration with various developing partners in making this campaign success. In line with above to monitor the progress on the ground, the World Bank DRM unit made a visit to the pilot program schools in Bandung (where Tunza International Children & Youth Conference on Environment was held on 2011, I miss that forum and all of you guys...) and Kabupaten Bandung and the Bank invited me as a Eco-generation Regional Ambassador to join the mission to Bandung. For me, the main focus of this trip is on disaster reduction. Knowing about risks that lead to disasters, understanding how they affect our livelihood and environment. In that mission we visited SD Karya Winaya (Bandung) and SD Pangalengan8 (Kabupaten Bandung) . Trough song and simulation the children learn about how to protect their head first and go to the save place with the right way to minimize the damage from disaster. Million thanks for World Bank who pleased to invited me also for Tunza who have selected me as one of E-gen ambassador. pict 1,2 3. children simulation "saver school" pict 4.
