 Semarang, Indonesia - On July 12, 2012, there was a Future Leader Summit, a national conference held in Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang. There were 6 parallel sessions on different rooms, which are: art & culture, environment, international diplomacy, education, youth voluntarism, and business & development. Empowering nation's future leader is the tagline of this seminar. Here are the presenters: - Environment: Vania Santoso & Amilia Agustin - Education: Pratya Pratama & Lendo Novo - Business & Development: Leonardo Kamilius &Nadya Saib - Youth Volunteerism: Valencia & Tazkia Fatimah - International Diplomacy: Pradita Astarina & Gugun Gumilar - Art & Culture: Eya Grimonia & Nancy Margried Talking about environment, the two speakers mainly talk about how we can save the earth by doing little action and keeping it grows. There were also application session, the first one was about "role play", wherein the players can try how to set a goal in a very limited time with the constraints and available resources. From this role play, we can learn our respond on facing the environmental problems. Are we easy-adapt, can we face the challenge, are we parts of solution-makers or problem-makers, and many other questions can be answered. The second one was about making the "promise-land". It's like making a poster consisted of our commitment on the environment. So after coming home from this summit, the audiences can more care on the environment. |
