The Future!

The environmental website, Mother Nature Network, reports that mining the moon can be the next decade's easy source of alternative energy. Now there are heavy ongoing international negotiations for switching off the fossil fuels usage. So in pursuit of discovering the next big shot of energy source the Russian space company RKK Energiya has announced that it is considering Helium 3, a nonradioactive isotope of the inert gas, as a potential energy economic resource to be mined by the year 2020. The light isotope Helium-3, an extremely rare element on earth, is being believed to hold an enormous potential of electricity generation via nuclear fusion, thus eliminating out any further debates regarding nuclear pollution. In search for answers to its availability, human is already eying upon the moon where the isotope is abundant and can be mined as one of the upcoming alternative energy source for tomorrow. My only obvious concern is: so we won't be sparing the grandma-stories-inspiring moon as well.

Regarding the pollution of nuclear fission, we are seeing the coming up of organizations, like Kurion Inc., pioneering the technologies to tackle the future waste generation. It has been providing high end water cleanup service for the tsunami affected Fukushima. It has worked particularly in reducing the Cesium levels and nuclear byproducts in water. In order to assist the cleaning up of the contaminated liquids at the affected nuclear plant, Kurion has announced that 100 tons of its patent-pending Ion Specific Media shall be distributed. So we have a solution but is someone pausing and giving a thought to where the world is heading exactly!
