![]() ![]() ![]() I went out this morning to volunteer for the lake clean-up with the fisherfolk members of the FARMC. That means Fisheries Aquatic Resources Management Council which is composed of the fishermen and other concerned people. This morning we removed so much moss from the water, which a scientist will teach us to convert to compost. The moss was heavy to lift because it was wet. But there were a lot of us so the work went fast. Then the garbage trucks came to pick up the moss. Since my grandmother's farm is nearby, all the moss that was collected was brought to the farm. Next month the scientist will come to put some microorganisms on the moss to make it into fertilizer. |
