  Green Pledge Project Green Pledge Project is a short term global photo competition for all ages that aims to promote both the value of education and environmental awareness at the same time, which is very timely for the World Environment Day which is on the 5th of June. Guidelines: 1. Write pledges for the environment (e.g. ?I pledge to conserve water?) and take a photo of yourself holding it. You can make pledges by simply writing it on any kinds of paper (bond paper and the likes). It can be plain writings or computerized but being creative will give you an edge. 2. Send the photos of your ?green pledges? to greenpledge.youtharia@gmail.com until the 19th of May. The official lists of qualified pledges will be posted on the page of Green Youth Generation https://www.facebook.com/greenyouthgeneration on the same day. 3. As soon as the qualified photos have been officially posted, participants will already be allowed to ?share? the photo and campaign to gain ?likes? until May 30. 4. Winners will be chosen based on how many ?likes? their photos will gain, which will be announced on World Environment Day, June 5. 5. The top 3 winners will be given online recognition and certificates as a reward for raising awareness. Also, a special award will be given to the Most Creative pledge. 6. Another highlight of this photo contest is that for every corresponding number of likes a photo will gain, an equivalent school supply will be donated to some children which again happens to be very timely because school days in the Philippines actually starts on June. 100 likes = 1 pencil/ball pen 300 likes = 1 notebook/ 1 old book Help raise environmental awareness and partake in the completion of some children?s simple dreams!
