You appear in all colours

Red, blue, black and others,

Very attractive to our eyes,

You are very helpful,

Yet you are very dangerous,

And unknown environmental terrorist,

Wonderful plastics

You take centuries to be bio-degraded,

You have killed many animals,

Some on land and others marine,

Caused severe deaths,

By blocking their digestive systems,

Interfere with their stomachs,

Weaken them but at long last,

Severe death,

You caused suffocation in children,

Pretending to be toy,

Wonderful plastics,

You have filled our dustbins,

Days and nights,

Dustbins curse you silently,

And can no longer withstand you,

Wonderful plastics,

The council workers every day,

Plastics, Plastics! Who invented you?

You are scattered everywhere,

In cities and outskirts,

We took you to far distances,

Just to get rid of you,

But in the next few hours you are there,

Wonderful plastics,

People and animals,

Living in water catchments areas die,

Not only because of hunger but thirst,

Just because you block water ways,

And areas you cover are dry,

Even during heavy rains,

People claim of drought,

But you are the drought reference,

Wonderful plastics,

Leave environment in peace and not in pieces!
