The success of the environment lies in our children

by | 27-03-2012 19:58

Every young and old individual wants to make environmental conservation part of their daily activities. But we still forget the biggest pillar of achieving this lies in our small children. In school compounds, small children become the man power to the survival of a tree seedling. Duty of watering them is assigned to each one of them so that they own the plant. When such a small child leaves primary school after 8 years or even more, he or she has something that he has left; a big legacy.

It is giving them the chance to take the lead as young as even the age of below 10 years.  In here future, they are well aware and fully responsible for their own environment. They will have all it takes to address global environmental issues such as global warming and climate change.

I believe that our small children are the most successful in terms of conserving the Mother Nature. The first step is by giving them the leadership they want. With such a step, they will be in a position to take the lead and become role model not only for the young people but at times the old guards too.

Has anyone ever noticed how children become more educative especially on environmental awareness posters? It is because they send a big message to the society so that everyone should always have them in mind for every little step they take. This ensures that they have a better future than the current one.

Let?s not forget our children and have them in our hearts.
