 Probolinggo, Indonesia - Running the environmental program is about involving all elements. Environment has wide issues to be covered in. Starting from students as future generations, business leaders and government as stakeholders, gardeners or scavenger as direct actors, etc. Therefore, AV Peduli not only gives socialization about waste management to students or business partners, but also to the direct actors itself. Supported by the East Java Office of Cleanliness and Garden as well as local government in Probolinggo, AV Peduli shared Ecopreneurship to scavenger. Most of them usually only collect the rubbish and sell to other people. But through the workshop, they can be more aware about the importance of doing waste management first hand at home. AV Peduli directly taught how to recycle with the sense of art. Of course, the scavenger became so enthusiastic learning new interesting thing that can improve their earning. Some of participants can create the recycled products easily, while the others still need more time to do it. It doesnt matter about the time, because the point is about raising their willingness to reduce waste production. At that time, the government officer also gave support by giving waste bin to separate organic and non organic waste. They also will hold the center of recycling to empower more people in managing waste. |
