The Natural Manure

by | 30-01-2012 19:18

The natural manure which is manufactured from coconut coir wastage retains the humidity of the soil.  The outer part of the coconut is used to make coir; the wastage after making coir is the best substituent for agrochemicals.  Moreover the natural manure also protects the goodness of the soil.  In India every year we can produce Rs. 20 crore natural manure using these coir wastages.  Within one month the wastages becomes manure.  According to Gandhiji ?Waste is not a waste until it is wasted?.  Yes.  The nature gives all to us. We forgot all those things and ran behind agro chemicals.  If we use this coir manure  the soil is prevented from degradation.

Preparation:

In a shadow place make a pit having 5m length, 3m length

*spread 100kg of coir wastage uniformly

* Add 400 gm ?Pith+?

*Spread 100 kg coir wastage

*Add 1 kg urea.

This is considered as one layer.  Like this up to 1m height we make several layers.  Within one month duration it will change into manure entirely.  We maintain the humidity of the manure 200%.  It is black in colour.  It has rich quantity of Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potassium.  Moreover it also contains Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, and Copper. To convert one ton coir wastage in to manure we need Rs. 50/= worth of 2kg Pith+  and Rs. 25/= worth of 5kg urea.  From this we can produce 580 kg of Natural Manure.
