While I read our Indian History I came to know about King Ashoka, he planted many trees along both sides of the roads but nowadays many trees are cut down for expanding the roads. Roads are essential for economic growth no doubt until they do not affect the environment and nature. We can buy anything with our money but not nature. We must plant saplings as per population too. Nowadays ratio of trees and humans is imbalance. One man needs at least 5 trees. We get all from nature but we disturb our nature more than enough. Mohandas Karamchad Gandhi said that-

?The earth gives every man?s need but not every man?s greed?

 As this time I also remember one English Poem –

Forbid your mind from searching greed;

For only more is enough

v   Prevents 200,000 worth of soil erosion

v   Gives 300,000 worth of cool air

v   Gives 320,000 worth of oxygen

v   Purifies carbon dioxide and gives 500,000 worth of oxygen

Trees in 1Hecktare area absorbs 25ton of CO2 and leaves 121 tone of O2. One normally grown tree gives the cool air equivalent to the 10 air conditioners.  Trees near sea shore reduces the speed of air up to 80km. while cyclones.  They absorb the rain water and retain the nutrients of soil.  Trees in 1 acre give oxygen to 18 persons.  They give 0.20 lakhs worth of food and 0.20 worth of flowers.
