![]() ![]() ![]() From April to September 2011, postcards about Mongolia's drought and desertification were exhibited in the Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies in order to raise awareness about the seriousness of water shortage. Resolutions in which the youth could participate were explained, and signatures were collected for a petition as well. In addition, a petition called "My Efforts to Protect the Greenland" was initiated in September, and fundraisers in which all the profits went to porchasing trees for planting in Mongolia, were also conducted. The funderaisers included such activities as selling environment-friendly pencils and postcars, which warmed against the overuse of air-conditioning. |
