The forum,entitled ?Children and safe and friendly environment?. drew the attention of 180 children aged from 10 – 16 from 30 provinces and cities nationwide

They discussed ways to escape from risks of being physically abused and exploited, child injuries. It was also a good chance for them to speak out what they need to do for a safe and friendly environment. Especially, participating children also conversed directly with Party and State leaders about their concerns and desires o¿ August 10.

Based o¿ children?s ideas, law makers supplemented and amended legal regulations to facilitate the realization of children?s rights and raise awareness of local authorities, society and families of the rights.

The event was co-organized by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the National Assembly?s Committee for Culture, Education, Youth and Children.
