 Indonesia - Water quality in Surabaya has dropped and became worse than before. There are approximately 250 industries and houses along the Surabaya River littering their untreated waste into the river. Surabaya River itself actually has many important functions for our needs. It is the main source of our drinking water for Surabaya region and some cities surround. Besides, it is the place which full of biodiversity, as around 250 species live inside Surabaya River. People's awareness is in the need of being increased. That's why, AV Peduli socialize schools to schools regarding to make campaigns the importance of Surabaya River. Therefore, AV Peduli also invites many students to do direct action by revitalizing Surabaya River In periodically, AV Peduli with students from different schools always clean up the river by putting out the waste and spreading fishes to keep the ecosystem well.
