 Indonesia - Surabaya is one of the metropolitan city in Indonesia. It has many industries inside with a busy daily activities. People don't care enough for the environment as their works. Moreover, latest survey from Indonesian Ministry on The Environment states that clean air in Surabaya is only 62 days/year. AV Peduli invites people to act together preventing air pollution. In periodically, around 30 members of AV Peduli distribute environmental stickers to raise people's awareness, and also Sansevieria plants to be planted at home. By NASA research, Sansevieria plants is proved producing oxygen 24/7 and reducing pollution, such as smoke, CO2, etc. This activities bring a good impact as up to now, in Surabaya there are many more green areas in every corner of street with Sansevieria plants and the clean air is going better now! |
