Cork it... Fight climate change!

by Bam Azores | 10-08-2011 14:24

TUNZA is pushing for the use of  cork stoppers in wine bottles. Why? Cork is renewable, recyclable and sustainably harvested from Mediterranean cork oak forests.  Many wine makers are using plastic stoppers and screw caps which end up in garbage dumps or in the oceans and seas. Sign up in the campaign for cork stoppers. It will ask drink companies to print on their labels if they are using plastic or cork so we can choose cork and save the environment.  You can sign the petition at http://tunza.mobi/articles/campaigning-for-cork/
