Elephant diagnosed with TB A female elephant at Amalekhgunj in Parsa Wildlife Reserve has been diagnosed with tuberculosis. 70-year-old Bhagawatikali (name of the elephant) was diagnosed with the disease in a recent blood test carried out by a health team from National Trust for Nature conservation. Assistant Technican at the reserve said the ailing tusker was sent to Kasara in Chitwan National Park on Friday for treatment. |
