Hundreds of icebergs believed to have split off Antarctic ice shelves are drifting north toward New Zealand.

Having icebergs that big reaching this far north is pretty significant. Although this phenomenon could be connected to global warming, experts say that they are not completely sure. It could be because of the increased rate of icebergs breaking off the Antarctic ice shelf in recent years due to dramatically rising temperatures on the continent over the past 60 years
