No More Styrofoam

by Bam Azores | 27-07-2011 23:09

A Grade Six class in Thomas Starr King Middle School in the USA dissected an albatross stomach and found out what was happening with the trash they were throwing away every day at lunch. There were bottle caps in the stomach.  It was a lesson about what happens to plastics that are used and thrown carelessly away.  The kids decided to make a difference by collecting the used styrofoam trays from their canteen stringing them up into a 30-foot art installation in the center of their school to get everyone's attention.
