When you feel like going out, so you dress up well and step out of home, and when suddenly you see a street and air filled with tiny dust and sand, how would you feel? When you just ignore it and hang out and later come into home, you will have serious headache and skin trouble. How would you feel? The ?Yellow dust? is certainly not a pleasing guest. However, do you think that everyone acknowledge the fact that most of the dust they swallow is actually a dust from Mongolia? As Mongolia?s desertification is getting worse every day, it?s consequences is serious. Mongolia?s desertification is being a serious harm not just to Mongolia themselves but to other neighboring countries such as Korea and China. The first major harm desertification is having is the problem of so called ?Yellow Dust?. As Mongolia?s vast green land turned into hideous desert, the sand of that desert is carried by wind to other countries like China and Korea. The damage caused by Yellow dust might be just an ?avoidable phenomenon? to town people. However, Yellow dust?s damage to farmlands is enormous. The sand sweeps the crops, weakening the immune system of crop, and blocking the sunlight from the roots of the crop by piling over the soils. Not just farmland, but also wild animals living in mountain are being damaged by Yellow Dust. The food they eat is covered by the dust and sand, thus becomes inedible. Eventually, they starve to death. As we can see the clear and hideous consequences of Mongolia desertification from above article, it is encouraged that we should all pour a lot of efforts to prevent the desertification from further developing. As it has serious effects to other country, we should all regard Mongolia desertification as our own problem.
