According to the accelerating desertification, there had been various efforts to prevent the further destruction and desertification. In the global scale, United Nation has established a treaty called UNCCD (United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification). This treaty, belonging to one of the 3^rd national treaty, was created to prevent further desertification in various countries, especially in Mongolia. This conference is held every 2 year, and about 193 countries environmental executives, experts join to discuss the problem and solutions of current desertification. Also, in this conference, people gather to support the developing nations financially and non-financially, to help them overcome the environmental crisis.

           In Korea, Dae-sung group is initiating a project called ?GEEP?. This project is done to use solar power and wind as a power source to pull out underground water, which will be used to moisturize many pastors in Mongolia. Beside this effort, as the damage caused by Mongolia desertification is serious, Korean government is supporting the prevention of Mongolia desertification in various way from sending volunteers to plant trees, to supporting Mongolia financially.

           In my opinion, such effort to prevent desertification of Mongolia should never be limited to only government and global scale. The most important, and influential effort is that many people should recognize and regard it as their own, responsible problem and try to prevent it
