 As spotlighted in the previous article, the seriousness of the problem regarding lack of water in Mongolia is never less to emphasize. If the phenomena continues, not only the people in Mongolia, but also the whole globe will be affected, and will suffer. Then what are the various factors that is causing and accelerating such phenomena? The first and major, general factor is climate change. Due to the climate change, the gap between daily temperature range is getting larger and larger, invoking drought and cold snap. Like domino, drought and cold snap accelerate desertification, thus depleting and dissipating the water resource that is situated in underground. Also because of cold snap and drought, nomads begun to move and migrate toward the city, thus increasing population. As population increases, with limited amount of water resource, people suffers from the lack of water. It seems that only solution that we can do is having some interest of such issues and problems and having mind to care the nature as our own. (Photo source from NAVER BLOG)
