Eco-milieage is an energy saving campaign. Residents in Seoul are encouraged to participate in order to reduce the emission of gases that cause global warming from houses, schools and companies.

Seoul residents are able to check the energy consumption of their household or organization if they type their personal information and the customer numbers of their electricity, water and city gas service.

If a household, after becoming a member of the program, succeeds in reducing its gas emission by more than 10 percent for six months compare to the earlier two year's numbers, the household will receive 50,000 Korean won as a reward.

Schools, resident complexes or commercial buildings can receive 5million to 10milllion Korean won in cash .
