 On July 11-15, 2011, the World Leadership Conference will take place in Singapore. It will bring together Asia-Pacific youth to share, discuss and take action towards a green sustainable future for Mother Earth. At the World Leadership Conference, the youth will craft the Asia-Pacific Youth Position Paper for submission to the Rio + 20 Earth Summit. There will be three tracks at the conference. The Knowledge Track will consist of inspiring sessions with expert speakers on the latest climate change and sustainability issues. The Policy Track will have youth put together the document for submission to Rio+20. And the Trade Fair Track will showcase the best environmental practices in the region! The Philippines will be sending a delegation composed of members of the Philippine Youth Environment Network. Registration to the World Leadership Conference is still open through July 1, 2011. |
