Nature and Us: Us in the Nature.

Nature and Us: Us in the Nature.

Nature is a casual term that is familiar to many, especially when they are not asked to define it.
What is nature?

In my opinion, Nature is simply all living and nonliving things existing naturally on earth, including human beings. Unfortunately, we humans, look at nature as something completely separate from us, yet we are a part of it.

My favorite part of nature is human beings: male and female, young and old, I am fond of them all. I like seeing them happy. I like creating a beautiful future for the next generations of humans. But why do I like humans?

Firstly, it is because I am one of them. Secondly, it is because of everything we can be, especially in the face of a timebomb such as the climate emergency.

Present, past and future:

Our past is nature at its best state. Our present is climate change with its manifestation evident as extreme weather events, and our future is what we make it. What does climate change mean for us? It means positive action in terms of mitigation and adaptation.

We can choose to prioritize climate action now for an assuaged future, or decide to continue towards the journey of environmental degradation and neglection of restoration strategies for a tragic destiny for both our race and the rest of nature.
