NATURE AND I

by Prince Foley | 27-07-2022 10:13

Mount Mulanje towers over 3000m high, locals call it the ¡®island in the sky¡¯, it is easy to see why – on a misty day the mountain is enclosed in a smoke-like haze, and its highest peak, Sapitwa, bursts through the cloud.

We traveled to Mulanje district in order to hike the mountain and enjoy the beauty of nature. To be honest, I was slightly nervous about this trip because I had heard that Mulanje was not exactly the easiest hike. However, the trip ended up being one of the best things ever.

Really beautiful area with many hiking routes for every level. We did a 3 day / 2 nights hike with 2 kids. Nights can get chilly and foggy during wintertime.
