Green Certificate Programs

Many people know about these programs. I will talk more about these programs in my country, Mexico. In my country, they are mostly focused on real estate construction.

For what I mentioned in the paragraph, in Mexico, several buildings are certified by LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and by several others, but mainly by LEED. But legislation and several reforms gave way to this. Although there are few buildings with this certification, but 15, there are several projects that are still waiting for the appraisal and hope to receive this certification. Even if there are few, I think it is a great step to promote environmental awareness.

Although there are these programs, there is still much to be done in this area, not only in Mexico but also throughout Latin America. In addition to this, better laws are needed in Mexico and in Latin America. Better incentives and laws are needed to be able to continue with this process to become a more sustainable and environmentally conscious world.
