Currently, Vietnam does not have a set of Green Building certificates issued by the Ministry of Construction, but only applies some basic and popular certificates of the world.
GREEN WORK CERTIFICATION SYSTEMS
Green Building Certification Systems (such as LOTUS, LEED, Green Mark, etc.) are standards that help evaluate green buildings.

The Green Building Certification System is the basis for:

- evaluate project performance

- certification to meet environmental standards through a third party
facilitate integrated design and construction processes

- ensure the project complies with current regulations

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CERTIFICATE SYSTEMS

LEED: A comprehensive green building certification system, developed in the US and suitable for projects towards international brand recognition. The requirements of the LEED are mainly relevant to the construction markets in developed countries rather than developing countries.

LOTUS: A comprehensive green building certification system developed for the construction market in Vietnam. The requirements of LOTUS are adjusted to suit the construction industry practice, State regulations and climate conditions in Vietnam.

EDGE: The certification system focuses on the Energy, Water and Contained Energy criteria of Materials, suitable for projects with the goal of minimizing resource consumption.

Green Mark: Singapore's green building certification system. Green Mark's standards are mainly suitable for the construction market in developed countries.
