LIVE GREEN TO REDUCE ¡°CARBON FOOD¡±

A ¡°carbon footprint¡± or ¡°carbon footprint¡± is the amount of greenhouse gases (mainly carbon dioxide) released into the atmosphere by a particular human activity. A carbon footprint can be wide-ranging or apply to the activities of an individual, a family, an event, an organization or even an entire country.

Simply put, this is a statistical indicator that the daily actions of humans release into the atmosphere the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2). If this number is larger, it will adversely affect the living environment.
According to experts, in order to live green (also known as a sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyle), people should reduce their carbon footprint in a number of ways such as: planting more trees, avoiding food waste , appliances, energy saving and reuse, waste sorting at home. In other words, a green lifestyle that protects the environment is a symbol of a commitment between ourselves and sustainable development in the future, reducing the burden placed on nature and resources on Earth.

The green revolution "regenerating a healthy living environment" is developing strongly. Consumers can now stay at home green, shaping a sustainable green lifestyle. If the house has a garden space or where you live has a lot of green space, the green trees not only bring a fresh atmosphere, which is beneficial to the physical and mental health of all family members, but here too. It is also the most practical way to reduce carbon footprint and protect the environment.

NEED TO ENJOY GREEN LIFE

Along with economic development and rapid urbanization, in recent years, air and noise pollution has created great challenges for cities. The lack of space for trees makes big cities always in a state of suffocation and chaos.

Meanwhile, trees have always been considered the "lungs" of the Earth since ancient times. Planting many trees in urban areas helps provide a large amount of oxygen for residents, making the living environment airy and comfortable. It is estimated that on average, one green tree can provide enough oxygen for 4 people. The temperature in urban areas with large green areas can be 2-4 degrees Celsius lower than the outside environment.

According to a study on forestry development trends in the Asia-Pacific region conducted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the percentage of trees per capita in modern cities in the world world common from 20-25 m2 per person. In which, many places have high rates such as Singapore 30.3 m2 per person, Seoul (Korea) 41 m2, Berlin (Germany) 50 m2, Moscow (Russia) 44 m2, Paris (France) 25 m2... The minimum green pepper of the United Nations is set at 10 m2.

According to the General Department of Forestry of Vietnam, currently the ratio of trees per person in major cities in the country is at 2-3 m2 per person. This fact shows that the proportion of urban trees in Vietnam is only 1/5 to 1/10 compared to the world. However, the addition of green areas in big cities is a difficult problem because the land fund is increasingly narrow.

From 2019 to now, when the Covid-19 pandemic has become more and more complicated, it has changed the psychology and behavior of consumers in all fields, including real estate. Many homebuyers have become more aware of the role of trees and health and value healthy living criteria when choosing a place to live. Living space to help residents exercise their own health, participate in sports activities, enjoy the peace when returning to nature is the need of many urban residents.

CHOOSE A GREEN LIFE SPACE IS CIVILIZED THINKING

Currently, the young generation in Vietnam as well as around the world is witnessing the worst changes in the environment and climate. Therefore, they are more knowledgeable and quickly approach new thinking about green lifestyle between modern and comfortable life.

In addition, urbanization causes the proportion of trees, lakes, ... to gradually decrease and be replaced by concrete, steel, dust, etc. Environmental pollution not only causes respiratory diseases, skin inflammation. but also increased neuropathy. This situation reduces the quality of life and affects the development of future generations. Modern life is gradually becoming unbalanced both physically and mentally, making young people want to seek a living space closer to nature than ever before.

In Hanoi, projects with green living space also attract a lot of attention from young customers and the elite. Because, green living is not simply a life in harmony with nature, but more than that, it is a trend that contributes to protecting health and building a sustainable future. Synchronized floors, diverse utilities to meet the needs of young families. However, the limited land fund in the center seems impossible, so the satellite city has become a bright spot.

One of the few urban areas that soon welcomes the trend of green living and comfort of urban residents today can be mentioned as Ecopark urban area - an ecological urban area located in the southeast of Hanoi capital. Ecopark is an urban area that is well-planned, classy, standard, meticulously invested, with all the utilities of a civilized city placed in a fresh green space.
